Domain Fellows

For the 2018-2019 school year I was a part of the Domain Fellows program. This UMW program allowed students to become familiar with and promote the Domain of One’s Own program, which gives students free domains (or, websites) to customize and build up their digital identity.

I used this opportunity as a chance to work with multiple digital mediums and expand my creativity in a non-classroom setting. Honestly, I had so much fun with these projects that I never felt like I was doing work at all!

During my time as a fellow, I got to write a blog post relating to my work, so please go ahead and read my blog post on idea generation

My favorite project I created was my own podcast, a parody of my favorite podcast Welcome to Night Vale. I had a blast melding all the elements together from start to finish.

If you enjoy WTNV, have a listen to Welcome to Night University! But, if you haven’t heard the original quirky podcast, give that a listen as well.

If you’re interested to see all the adventures I went on (and even some behind the scenes!) please check out my subdomain for Domain Fellows! I worked really hard on all of the projects I completed, and they are just waiting to be seen and heard!
